Houseboat Mooring - looking for moorage for house boats in BC ?

(Lake Okanagan, BC)
Houseboat Moorings - moorage is great for house boats.
When it comes to houseboat moorings, or for moorage for house boats, we're presently living in a 60ft Three Buoys houseboat in BC (British Columbia) on the Okanagan Lake, but the lake is being privatized.
We are looking for a lake in BC that does not freeze, stays relatively warm and is not in danger of being privatized. We have heard a little about Lake Powell, but don't have much more information. Does anyone have any ideas please.
Thanks for any help, Phil.
Reply - AnswerWell Phil, sorry to hear about your houseboat mooring problems, especially because the lake is being privatized.
As to other lake alternatives for some houseboat living, have you looked into the Lake Shuswap area?
if you're curious to find out more on Lake Powell, here's an article and
information about houseboats on Lake Powell. Lastly, hopefully some of our readers will share and post comments about their alternative houseboat mooring locations and moorage experiences. Feel free to use the "Click here to post comments." link found near the bottom of this page.
Thanks again for sharing, IAN from all-about-houseboats
