Floating Cabin Homes as Stationary Houseboats.
by Priscilla Talley
(Baileyton, Alabama)
Floating cabin homes can be used as stationary houseboats.
Wanted to show how floating cabin homes can be used as stationary houseboats, and still retain their beauty.
In the previous post re: floating cabins "Old Houseboater" mentioned the fact that the photo that Candace submitted looked like one of the units in Guntersville, Alabama.
He is indeed right, it does look like the first "Floating Condo's that were built for Spring Creek Marina.
I was contracted to build the last three for them and would like to submit this photo of one of My Floating cabins (The one In the middle).
I am very proud of my "Floating Creations" and not trying to be critical of others but truly want everyone to know that mine are REAL Cabins.....not floating house trailers.
Thanks, Priscilla Talley,
Reply - AnswerWell Priscilla, I also agree, and find that you have put a lot of effort and time to build quality, and beautiful floating cabins that are hard to find these days.
May we all get low cost lake front housing communities started all over as an alternative to living in the hustle and bustle of city life. Keep up the good work Priscilla :)
Lastly, hopefully some of our readers will share and post comments about their floating home - cabin houseboat experiences. Feel free to use the "Click here to post comments." link found near the bottom of this page.
Thanks again for sharing, IAN from all-about-houseboats
