Wanted to show how floating cabin homes can be used as stationary houseboats, and still retain their beauty.


In the previous post re: floating cabins "Old Houseboater" mentioned the fact that the photo that Candace submitted looked like one of the units in Guntersville, Alabama.

He is indeed right, it does look like the first "Floating Condo's that were built for Spring Creek Marina.

I was contracted to build the last three for them and would like to submit this photo of one of My Floating cabins (The one In the middle).

I am very proud of my "Floating Creations" and not trying to be critical of others but truly want everyone to know that mine are REAL Cabins.....not floating house trailers.

Well Priscilla, I also agree, and find that you have put a lot of effort and time to build quality, and beautiful floating cabins that are hard to find these days.

May we all get low cost lake front housing communities started all over as an alternative to living in the hustle and bustle of city life. Keep up the good work Priscilla :)

To the person who built the final 3 at Spring Creek Marina..... How can I contact you? Would like to know some basic answers to questions I have.

I live in Key West and want to build something similar. What is the floating structure? What material was used, mold, etc? How did you come up with the load factor with framing, roof, deck, household goods, etc.
