Exterior Wall Repair,Repaint

My mother recently purchased a houseboat that has peeling and cracking on the exterior. We assume it’s a fibreglass siding but don’t know how to tell and would like to paint or get new vinyl on the boat but are having trouble locating resources to understand what we have which I think would help us know who to look for on the repair side. Any help would be appreciated. I don’t know specifics on her boat but believe it is a late 70s model boat that has the style of the wide body’s that were popular in the late 90s through today on lakes.

I have a similar problem and I am also on Cherokee Lake. Did you ever get any help with your problem? I am looking for a repair service company to repair the exterior wall.
