Condensation isses

Are there any tricks or products to helping eliminate condensation from windows during the cold months? I know dehumidifiers work, but we are not always there, so we don't want them running when we aren't there. Looking to eliminate the moisture/mildew/mold around the windows. Any help/advice is appreciated.
