Christmas gifts for the houseboat
by Don
(Saint Paul, MN)
Nautaline houseboats are a popular model of house boat.
We got lots of Christmas gifts for our houseboat. I didn't get the Honda generator I was hoping for, but something almost as valuable, a giant Margarita maker, runs on AC or DC, and who of us can't put something like that to good use!!!
Let me first start out by saying I just purchased my first houseboat this fall. It is what we call a "fixer upper!" so any gift that we received is surely needed.
We may not have our house boat in the water this spring, but we will be enjoying a cold frosty treat while we try to bring this 1969 Nautaline houseboat back from the almost dead!!!
Hope everyone had a great holiday and Happy New Year !!!
Thanks, Don.
Reply - AnswerWell Don, thanks a lot for sharing your Christmas gifts with us, and I also agree that a Margarita maker is not a Honda generator, however like you said, you can make some great "frosty treats" with it. As for the Honda, well there's always next year :)
As to rebuilding your Nautaline, I hope your projects go well, and do come back and post some pictures and a small note letting us know how you went about it all.
Lastly, hopefully some of our readers will share and post comments about their Christmas houseboat gift experiences. Feel free to use the "Click here to post comments." link found near the bottom of this page.
Thanks again for sharing, IAN from all-about-houseboats
