Building a pontoon houseboat
by Joe & Betty
(Austin)
Need advice/suggestions on building a pontoon houseboat. The pontoons are 12'X32' and was used as a work boat at a marina. It is just the toons/logs and deck.
We have a 8'X28' regular pontoon we plan the use some parts off of. Need information on light weight walls, etc., anything solid and strong but light weight. Please have a great day!
Thank you! God Bless, Joe & Betty, Austin
Reply - AnswerWell Joe & Betty, congratulations on your decision to build a pontoon houseboat.
It appears that it will work out great that you have a "second spare boat" to salvage some parts off. It will many thing much cheaper.
